Step Measuring Guide for PopStep
It's Easy To Figure Out Which Size PopStep covers you need!
Unsure about your RV step brand or size? No problem! Our simple guide will help you quickly determine what you have, so you can confidently order the perfect PopStep Ultimate RV Step Covers size for your MORryde or Lippert steps. Follow our guide below for how to measure for Lippert Solid Step or MORryde StepAbove.
Step 1: Identify Your Step Brand
Before measuring, determine the brand of your RV steps:
MORryde Step Above: Look for a blue oval with the MORryde logo on each side of the top of the steps. These steps will also have black leg extensions and a wide non-skid strip on each tread.
Lippert Solid Steps: Look for a label at the top right of the steps (before you enter your RV). The leg extensions on these steps are typically silver and each tread will have two thin anti-skid strips.
Step 2: Measure Across The Middle Of The Steps

Now that you know your step brand, use the following step to determine the width (which will also help determine the brand):
– Measure the inside of the tread from side to side: Take a measuring tape or ruler and measure the width of your step tread across the front (from one side to the other).
MORryde StepAbove treads will be:
19.5 or 23.5 inches
Lippert Solid Step treads will be:
20 or 24 inches
Step 3: Choose The Correct Pop Step Cover Size
– **Use your measurement**: Refer to the PopStep cover sizing chart below to select the correct cover based on the width you measured across the front of the steps.
